The North Wildwood City Hall is located at 901 Atlantic Avenue in North Wildwood, New Jersey. It's the hub for all things containing to the city of North Wildwood. You can pay certain utility bills, get emergency weather information, go to city council meetings, file complaints, obtain parking information, get information on the city code and all kinds of other things.
In front of the City Hall building you'll find the North Wildwood Town Clock and the City Hall Historical Marker. Here's the history information on the historical marker:
City of North Wildwood 1917 - Present
After the City Hall at 3rd & Central was damaged by fire in 1922, council authorized the construction of a new building here on land donated by Henry Ottens. Officially opened on January 1, 1924, the building housed all city departments, hand one room for a public library, and featured a six-inch naval gun and a fountain on the front lawn. Extensive renovations took place in 1976 after the Police and Court moved to a new building.
There's a QR Code at the bottom of the historical marker for you to scan for additional information.
The grounds around the North Wildwood City Hall building are beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. There's parking out front and along the side streets. The building is handicap accessible and there's a bike rack to lock-up your bike when you're visiting the building.
We enjoy visiting historical sites and old buildings along with historical markers in the states that we visit. One of these days I would really love an inside tour! I bet it's a really beauty!!!
