Raleigh, North Carolina Hotels: Hotels in the area of Raleigh north Carolina are well equipped and here are a couple to whet the appetite, of the avid traveler. Wyndham Raleigh Durum of North Carolina Research Triangle Park: Every room comes with a flat screen TV and satellite channels.

All rooms have complimentary wireless internet access, coffee maker and air conditioning. If you are traveling with young children then a crib can be provided. The bathrooms have complimentary toiletries. There is limited room service, and they have a restaurant that serves breakfast only, for a surcharge, so you have to eat out on the evenings.

This hotel has an outdoor, seasonal, pool to use, but they do have a health club, which has a fitness facility nearby. Here they have 175 rooms, free newspapers on week days, in the lobby, and if you like they have express check-in. Every little helps and this hotel also offers a complimentary airport shuttle. The parking on the site is also free. Here pets can come with you, for a deposit, but it is best to check on booking if any size restrictions apply. There is a bar and lounge area for your use. Places to see while you are here have to be the Chapel Hill and the arboretum at UNC and Southpoint Mall. There is also Frankie's Fun Park.

Red Roof Inn Raleigh NCSU- Convention Centre: This Inn has 133 guestrooms. All rooms come with a television and premium cable channels. There is complimentary wireless internet access. The bathrooms are a bath/shower combination. They offer pay per view movies, free local calls and voice mail.

In the lobby, they have coffee and free daily newspapers. Parking on the site is free. Pets are welcome but it is best to check availability when booking, and if there are any fees. You are one exit from the farmer's market and not far from shopping, but you will need a car or use public transport. The convention center is only two minutes away.

The staff are friendly and will offer you help to know where things are locally to assist your visit. This is a clean well priced place to stay, while it is a bit basic, it doesn't have the hair dryer or fridge in all rooms, so if you want this ask on booking.
