Beautiful White Sandy Beaches of North Wildwood New Jersey

White Sandy Beaches of North Wildwood New Jersey
We love visiting Wildwood New Jersey a few times every year. Matter of fact, hubby and I are hoping to retire down to the south Jersey Shore in about 10 years. We absolutely love the North Wildwood, Avalon, Stone Harbor and Cape May areas.

Our travel photo of the week is one that I took back in September 2013 and it's of the North Wildwood Beach. This stretch of beach is absolutely gorgeous with nice white sand, clean and spacious! All of the beaches in Wildwood are FREE and you do not need to buy beach tags or pay any fees to visit them (or sit on them!).

The best ocean views on the entire island are up near the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse (in my honest personal opinion) and that is where we like to hang out. The nice thing about visiting Wildwood in September is that the weather is usually beautiful, still quite warm and the tourists are a LOT less in numbers!

The boardwalk and the stores are all still open, restaurants near by are still doing big business and if you love riding amusement rides...Morey's Piers and Waterpark is still open during the weekends in September. There are a ton of things to see and do in Wildwood during September and it's a great place to go for one final vacation during the summer season.

You can click on the photo above to enlarge it to see the details. You can find a lot of information about Wildwood right here on my travel blog in the New Jersey category. You will find lodging recommendations, dinning suggestions and a lot of reviews of things to see and do while visiting the south Jersey Shore!
