Visiting the Cape May Welcome Center

Cape May Welcome Center in New Jersey
The Cape May Welcome Center is the first place you should visit if you're new to the Cape May area. The center is staffed by local volunteers who will speak to visitors about the history of the area, hand out maps to help guide you along your way and you can pick-up money saving coupons to redeem at local merchants when shopping or dining.

In front of the center you'll find FREE 30-minute parking. You can only park in their lot if you're visiting the center. Nearby you'll find the ACME grocery store, nearby shops, restaurants and the Washington Street Mall is within walking distance.

At the center they can point you in the right direction if your looking for accommodations, recommendations on where to eat, places to shop and tell you all about the things you can see and do while visiting the area.

We enjoy visiting the Cape May Lighthouse, shopping at the Washington Street Mall, looking for Cape May Diamonds on Sunset Beach, The Conservancy at South Cape May Meadows (walking trails for birdwatching) and visiting the Cape May County Zoo (free to visit).
