Visiting the High Pointe Commons Shopping Center in Harrisburg

The High Pointe Commons Shopping Center is located at the corner of Lindle Road and Interstate 83 in Harrisburg. It's been in operation since 2006 and offers about 30 retail businesses. One of the things I like about this shopping center is all of the available parking. I can typically park close to the front of any store that I'm visiting.

Right behind the shopping center and within walking distance you'll find the Sheraton Hotel. Within a few minutes driving distance you'll find a lot of chain restaurants, hotels & motels, the Harrisburg Mall, movie theaters, etc. 

When we visit the shopping center we typically visit JCPenny, Target, the Christmas Tree Shop and then grab a bite to eat at Five Guys (delicious burgers) or at Moe's Southwest Grill. It's a really nice shopping center for those who prefer a non-mall environment. 

The Aloha Coffee Shop and Beach Grill in North Wildwood

The Aloha Coffee Shop and Beach Grill is part of the Aloha Oceanfront Motel in North Wildwood, New Jersey. We've been staying at the motel for the past 22 years and are always impressed with the accommodations and service. You won't find a cleaner motel in North Wildwood and the ocean views can't be beat! #AlohaWW #NWAloha

One of the great amenities of this motel is that they have their own coffee shop & beach grill right on the premises. They're open for breakfast and lunch from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You can dine-in or order take-out. Breakfast is offered from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Lunch is offered 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Breakfast: Egg Sandwiches, Breakfast Entrees, Omelettes, the Aloha Big Breakfast, Breakfast Wraps, Breakfast Burrito, Pancakes, French Toast, Cereal, Toast, English Muffins, Toasted Bagels, Home Fries, Bacon, Canadian Bacon, Scrapple, Sausage, Ham, Pork Rolls, Fresh Fruits, Breakfast Danish, etc. 

Lunch: Burgers, Steak Sandwiches, Grilled Cheese, Pork Roll & Cheese Sandwiches, Jumbo Hot Dogs, Grilled Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Quesadilla, Tuna Melts, Cold Sandwiches, Triple Decker Clubs, Wraps, Salads, French Fries, Mozzarella Sticks, Chicken Fingers, Buffalo Wings, Onion Rings, etc.

Beverages: Coffee, tea, iced tea, bottled water, sodas, milk, chocolate milk, hot chocolate, iced coffee, fruit juices, etc. You can get fountain drinks or bottled drinks to-go. 

The kid's menu is available for children 12 years old or under and includes: eggs, pancakes, French toast and cereal with milk. For lunch children can choose between hamburgers, cheeseburgers, grilled cheese, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, hot dogs, french fries, and chicken fingers. 

Over the years we've tried many of the different menu options that they have to offer. We've always been very satisfied with everything that we've tried. 

Our breakfast favorites: Blueberry Pancakes, Strawberry Pancakes, French Toast and the Aloha Big Breakfast which includes 2 golden pancakes, 2 eggs (any style), 2 pieces of bacon and 2 pieces of sausage. 

Our lunch favorites: Chicken Quesadilla, Cheesesteak Sandwiches, Bacon Blue Burger, the Breakfast Burger and you've got to try the famous Aloha Burger with bbq sauce, onion rings and cheddar cheese on top! Everything is made-to-order...just the way that you like it! 

Hot food is served hot and cold food is always served cold. The cook is willing to prepare your food according to your specifications and within reason. The entire coffee shop is modern and clean. Extremely clean!!! 

Let's talk about prices. In my honest opinion...the prices are comparable to those you would find at a fast food restaurant but the food is 100% better! You can get the Aloha Big Breakfast for $7.95 and that fed us both! The portions are very generous! You can order the Aloha Burger for lunch (made with Angus beef) and it's only $7.50. 

The Aloha Coffee Shop & Beach Grill is open to the public and to motel guests. You'll find them located at 210 JFK Beach Drive in North Wildwood, New Jersey. Open from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You can reach them via phone at (609) 522-8495 extension 150. We highly recommend them when visiting the Wildwood island..

A Day Trip to Fun Fore All Family Fun Park

The Fun Fore All Family Fun Park is located in Cranberry Twp., Pennsylvania. It took us 2 hours and 45 minutes to reach the facility from the Harrisburg and Hershey area. It was a nice drive but long. We prepared the kids ahead of time for the drive by packing travel bags loaded with activity books, games, snacks and drinks. 

You'll find family-friendly amusement rides, arcade games, and miniature golf at the park. Some of the attractions are indoors while others are outdoors. You'll want to check their website and social media accounts for hours of operation. The outdoor attractions are open weather permitting. In regards to admission price...it's pay-per-attraction and prices vary. 

On the day that we visited the park we spent a total of 4 1/2 hours there with our grandchildren. Here's a list of attractions that you and your family can enjoy.

While you're there you can grab a bite to eat. Due to Covid restrictions they're offering a limited menu. You can order pizza, wings, french fries, onion rings, chicken tenders, funnel cakes, ice cream, nachos, soft pretzels and a few other things, along with your favorite beverages. 

Our family, especially our grandchildren really enjoyed spending the afternoon at Fun Fore All Family Fun Park. It was our first visit to the park and weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was.
