It goes on to tell you about all of the work he did for the town of Hummelstown and his legal profession over the years. He was a third generation lawyer on the Dauphin County Bar and served the county in various public positions. He was well-educated and liked by the local residents who he served. At the bottom of the memorial it states that the judge patterned his life after the words of Theodore Roosevelt. You can read the entire thing while you're there.

You'll find several wooden park benches spread throughout the park that you can sit on to relax and people watch. There's a wooden gazebo if you prefer shade. There's a playground for the kids with a seasaw, swings, sliding boards, climbing apparatus, etc. It's very well-maintained and beautifully landscaped.
