If you're in the Harrisburg area and looking for something fun to do with the kids or just a date-night out you'll want to head to Water Golf on City Island. It's a beautifully landscaped 18-hole miniature golf course that sits along the Susquehanna River on City Island.
The mini golf course is open seasonally, weather permitting. You'll find 18 challenging holes with water features, bridges, sloping greens and scenic bluffs. If you want to avoid the crowds plan your outing during a weekday or earlier in the afternoon during a weekend.
You'll want to dress appropriately for current weather conditions and wear comfortable walking shoes. Before heading in to play we recommend apply sunscreen and a little bit of bug spray. Down along the river the mosquitos can get nasty depending on the time of day and current weather conditions. Just be prepared.
After playing you can head on over to the Clubhouse to pick up some refreshments and souvenirs from your day.
Located on City Island you'll find the Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat (for tour cruises), Riverside Village, Batting Cages, Lil Graber R.R. Carriage House, Riverside Stadium (where the Senators play baseball), and other fun attractions/activities. There are 2 parking lots on City Island, so arrive early for the best parking spaces.
