The Promenade Family Restaurant on Derry Street in Harrisburg offers casual family dining. Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Hours vary depending on the day. You can dine-in or place an order for take-out. Delivery is not available.
Many families flock to the local "chain" restaurants in the area and the Promenade Family Restaurant is often over-looked. When we talk to locals many aren't even aware that it exists. It's easy to get to (right along Derry Street) between Harrisburg and Hummelstown. Not far from the post office in Lawnton.
Free parking right outside of the restaurant with handicap spaces located closest to the front door. Upon entering you'll be greeted by a hosted who will sit you at a table or booth. There are two fireplaces in the restaurant which help to set the casual mood.
Their menu is vast and kid-friendly. You'll find homemade meatloaf, ham steaks, beef steaks, pork chops, roasted chicken, bbq ribs, hot and cold sandwiches, hamburgers, homemade soups, salads, appetizers, side dishes, seasonal specials, and their desserts are absolutely delicious!!! The kid's menu has several offerings too.
