The Cocoa Diner is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with breakfast being served all day. The diner is open 7 days a week from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, hours are subject to change. You can eat-in, order take-out and local delivery is available.
You'll find the diner located on 590 East Main Street in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. It's about a 5-7 minute drive from the Hershey attractions: Hersheypark, Hershey Outlets, Hershey Chocolate World, Zoo America, the Giant Center, etc.
Late one afternoon we stopped into the Cocoa Diner for a late lunch. Their menu is vast and offers all of your classic diner fare such as steaks, meatloaf, seafood, fish, hamburgers, baked and grilled chicken, prime rib, spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, breaded veal, hot and cold sandwiches, french fries, onion rings, chicken fingers, etc.
On this particular visit my wife enjoyed a ham steak dinner with a side order of french fries and cole slaw. I ordered the meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy and a side order of corn. The restaurant offers Pepsi products, iced tea, coffee, juice and milk for the kids, etc.
After our meal we decided to order dessert. I opted for chocolate ice cream while my wife enjoyed a strawberry cheesecake cup. They have a freezer right by the front door that is loaded with all kinds out of mouth-watering desserts. Cakes, pies, ice cream, and more!
What impressed us:

* All staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
* We were seated within 1 minute of our arrival.
* Meal was on the table within 15 minutes of placing our order.
* Meal was exactly what was ordered and cooked to perfection.
* Attentative staff giving us refills and checking on us.
* Food was delicious.
* Friendly atmosphere.
* Affordable prices.
* Plenty of free parking.
* Clean restrooms.
This was our first visit to the Cocoa Diner and it certainly won't be our last. There are other items on the menu that caught our eye. It was a hard decision on deciding what to order.
