The Marvis Diner has been in business since 2007 with their main location on Pacific Avenue in Wildwood, New Jersey. Two years ago they expanded and bought the old Star Diner located on Spruce Avenue in North Wildwood. Both locations offer eat-in and take-out options.
During the "In Season" they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. During the "Off Season" their hours of operation and menu offerings vary. Each location has their own FREE parking lot, so no need to drive around looking for a parking spot or paying for a spot at a meter.
For several years we've enjoyed lunch or dinner from their main location on Pacific Avenue. The food has always been delicious and reasonably priced. This time around we decided to try out their new location in North Wildwood and we're so glad that we did!
Both locations offer the same exact menu offerings. You'll find your classic diner fare like roasted chicken, meatloaf, ham steaks, hamburgers, steaks, seafood, wraps, hot and cold sandwiches, several different appetizers, desserts, salads, soups and so forth. There's a small kid's menu too.
One thing that we really like about the new location is that it wasn't crowded! Their main location often gets crowded during the summer season. You may have to wait on a table. At their new location we were seated immediately and had drinks on our table 3 minutes later. The wait staff took our orders within 5 minutes and about 20-25 minutes later our meals were on the table. That's fast service!
Everything that we ordered was cooked to perfection and to our specific requests. Nicely presented on the plate with items separated and not running together. The portion size was very generous, matter of fact, we both got take-home boxes to-go. Food was delicious and very satisfying.
If you haven't tried out the new Marvis Diner location on Spruce Avenue in North Wildwood we highly recomend that you do! If you're staying in North Wildwood it's closer than the one on Pacific Avenue. If you're staying in Wildwood or Wildwood Crest...you'll have to drive up to it but well-worth the drive in our honest opinion.
