Family Fun at ZooAmerica in Hershey

Are you planning a trip to Hershey, Pennsylvania? If so, You have got to plan a trip to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park! ZooAmerica is located in the heart of Hershey, Pennsylvania and is a beautiful zoo that is connected to Hershey Park (the amusement park), but you can also access it separately.

When you visit ZooAmerica you will find the brown bear exhibit, barn owls, snowy owls, Canadian lynx exhibit, river otters, prairie dogs, American bison, wolves, reptiles like snakes and lizards, American alligator, skunks and so much more! Brand new for this year is their new ocelot exhibit and I am looking forward to seeing that once spring arrives and I can head to the zoo again.

ZooAmerica is open year around, weather permitting. You can send free animal e-cards from the zoo's web site, watch educational animal videos, etc. You can purchase your tickets online or at the door. ZooAmerica has a great gift shop that you can visit after your fun-filled day at the zoo.

You'll want to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the season. You'll be doing a lot of walking and 95% of this zoo is outdoors. During the summer season they do have a small snack bar where you can grab something to eat & drink. During the off-season, the snack bar is closed.

When visiting the South Central Pennsylvania area...make sure you plan an afternoon trip to ZooAmerica! It is a small, family-friendly zoo located right in downtown Hershey.
