Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster Pennsylvania

Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster Pennsylvania
Planning a trip to Lancaster, Pennsylvania? Got small children? If so, I suggest you plan a full day to visit Dutch Wonderland which is an Amusement Park that is totally geared towards children!

Dutch Wonderland has 30 fun-filled rides and 2 kiddie roller coasters that will entertain the little ones for hours! Most of the rides at Dutch Wonderland are for kids only...but they do have about 10 rides that are family-friendly where the adults can ride too! Plus, they are always adding new attractions every year for you to enjoy!

You enter Dutch Wonderland through a big white and purple castle which is also the park's gift shop. Once you pass through there you will be at the entrance of the park where you pay your admission. Right past the gates you will find several places that sell food and beverages along with restrooms (which I suggest you use before venturing too far into the park).

You will find that the park is well laid out and there are maps along the way to direct you around to various rides and amusements. As you are out and about in the park you might just run into a few of the Dutch Wonderland characters. Our wee one enjoyed visiting with the Dutch Wonderland Princess.

You will want to allow a minimum of 4 hours to ride and play at Dutch Wonderland and when you are done...you can find many eating establishments close by to enjoy a good family dinner together. Dutch Wonderland is a lot of fun for families so make sure you plan a trip to visit Dutch Wonderland this summer while visiting Lancaster County in Pennsylvania.
