Harbor Light Motor Inn in North Wildwood

My husband and I take a few vacations every year down to Wildwood, New Jersey. We love the Jersey Shore and as far as we are concerned, Wildwood is the place to go because their beaches are beautiful, very clean and FREE!

When we go down to Wildwood we always stay in North Wildwood which is the northern half of the island. There are also nice places to stay in Wildwood and Wildwood Crest but we just prefer North Wildwood.

Back in early June we were down on vacation and we got to check out the Harbor Light Motor Inn which is located in North Wildwood, right on the beach block. The hotel just recently got renovated and wow, it is super nice! They put in an elevator so you no longer have to climb stairs which I think is fantastic!
The motor inn has 2 nice sized heated pools with plenty of sitting areas around the pools. One pool is larger than the other pool but it is nice having a choice. Each unit gets one parking spot (in season) so if you are taking more than one car, you will have to find parking for the second vehicle.

There is a nice little hotel office with a lot of friendly staff. We are particularly fond of Josephine who has worked at the motor inn for years. If you are looking for things to do while on vacation their hotel office has a big wall full of pamphlets that you can pick up to find places to see or things to do.
They have various styles of rooms and accommodations available for you. We stayed on the third floor in room 319 which has a wonderful ocean view. Our room was very clean and very spacious. We had a dinning room table with 4 chairs, a nice large sofa and a TV in the sitting area of the room.

There is also a mini kitchen which includes a 2 burner stove, cookware, dinnerware, utensils, sink for washing dishes, a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and a full size refrigerator/freezer. There is an ice machine on the property so you can fill up your ice bucket to keep your beverages nice and cold. Kitchen linens and dish soap is provided for you.

The bathroom is nice sized and includes a shower/tub combo, toilet, sink, large mirror and a hair dryer. Our bathroom was extremely clean and I always check out the cleanliness of a bathroom when I am checking out lodging options. Two thumbs up on this clean bathroom!
The bedroom was spacious and we had 2 double beds in our room along with plenty of drawer space and a small closet for hanging clothes. There was plenty of pillows, sheets and blankets along with an iron in the closet should you need it. One thing I really liked is that the bedroom has a nice flat panel TV!

I took my laptop with me and went all through the room using it to see how their wireless service was and I had absolutely no issues with connecting to the web and staying on the web at all. You do not pay extra for internet service when you are staying at the motor inn which is super nice too!

Overall, we had a great experience at the Harbor Light Motor Inn in North Wildwood NJ and would highly recommend this lodging option to you if you are visiting the Wildwood area of the Jersey Shore. We give the Harbor Light Motor Inn 9 out of 10 stars on our rating scale. We only deducted 1 star on our rating scale as there were no clocks in our room (except on the microwave) and there are no bedroom windows. Other than that, absolutely no complaints!
