Shopping & Fun in Sunset Beach - Cape May - New Jersey

Shopping & Fun in Sunset Beach - Cape May - New JerseyMy husband and I love to visit Cape May County in New Jersey, home to the victorian Cape May area. We are huge fans of Stone Harbor, North Wildwood and Cape May and visit a few times every year.

When we are down at the Jersey Shore, we like to spend an afternoon down at Sunset Beach in Cape May which is located near the Cape May Lighthouse. This makes for a great afternoon for fun and shopping!

When you visit Sunset Beach, you will find 3 stores that are located right on the beach. I love going into their gift shop and trust me, everytime I go in there, I come out with a few purchases! You will find great coastal gifts, Cape May clothing, jewelry, kitchen items, gourmet foodie gifts, seashells, home decor and more!

There are 2 other shops located on the beach and one of them has a lot of clothing and accessories. The other one has a lot of rocks, minerals, seashells (great for collectors) and some beautiful outdoor coastal landscaping decor.
Sunset Beach in Cape May New JerseyThere is a grill right on the beach where you can order lunch and beverages. We like to sit on the beach and enjoy our lunch while watching the ocean waves or boats pass us by.

Bring a chair and sit on the beach or walk the beach to collect seashells and the famous Cape May Diamonds. You can usually find them washing up onto the beach near the Sunken Concrete Ship.
Mini Golf at Sunset Beach in Cape May New JerseyThey just put in a new 18 hole mini golf course and we played it for the first time the week of the 10th. We LOVED it! Most of the holes were challenging for us and you can see the beautiful ocean from almost all of the holes. It's a beautifully landscaped mini golf course!

Nearby you will find the Cape May Lighthouse, the World War II Lookout Tower and the bunker which lies on the coast.

There are a lot of fun things to see and do while visiting Sunset Beach in Cape May, New Jersey!

Cape May is great. We went there for the first time last summer. Went around town and went down to sunset beach. The views were gorgeous and the town is filled with great folks.
We got a souvenir from a store called Great White Shark there. When at home, it broke, with a bit of help from me. We could not find a similar one anywhere else so I contacted the store directly. not only did they have it in stock, they sent it over to me no problem and asked for payment after i received it. Awesome
