Chaddsford Winery in Chadds Ford Pennsylvania

The Chaddsford Winery is located right outside of Philadelphia and is owned & operated by Lee and Eric Miller. It is one of the biggest and most well-known wineries in the entire state. Getting there from Harrisburg Pennsylvania takes about 2 hours depending upon the route that you take. (We suggest jumping on the PA Turnpike).

The winery offers tours and wine tastings on a regular basis. You can find their complete schedule of events, hours of operation and obtain driving directions right on their web site. In addition, the wine tastings are held in two locations...one being at the winery itself and the second being at Peddler's Village.

Recently my daughter and her bridesmaids visited Chaddsford Winery to celebrate her bachelorette party in style There were 6 girls in her party and they all had a great time at the wine tasting and tour. The winery and grounds that it sits on are beautifully landscaped and offered many different picture taking opportunities for the girls.

Already love the Chaddsford wines? Well guess what? You can buy them at the winery, at Peddler's Village or now you can shop online and have them directly delivered to your front door. If you are located out of state, check their web site to see if the wines can be delivered to you as some areas & locations are also available besides Pennsylvania.

Overall, the girls had a really great time visiting the winery and next year for my daughter's first wedding anniversary, her and her new husband will be taking a winery tour together. I think that is a great way to celebrate your first wedding anniversary. Now to keep my fingers crossed that hubby gets a bright idea from this and takes me down to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary next year.
