World Famous Sightseer Tram Car on the Wildwood Boardwalk

One of the most famous icons that you will ever see on the Wildwood Boardwalk in New Jersey is the world famous Sightseer Tram Car. It is recognizable and you will always here the pre-recorded message over it's loud speaker that says "Watch the Tram Car Please" as it passes by.

The Sightseer Tram Car is beloved my the young and the young at-heart. It's a great way to get up and down the Wildwood boardwalk while taking in all of the exciting sights along the way. It runs during the in-season from North Wildwood down to Wildwood and will pick you up and/or drop you off any where in-between.

The cost you might ask? Well, during our most recent visit to Wildwood it was $3.00 each way, per person. One of the locals did tell me that they do expect that the cost will rise next year. However, that is just a rumor and we can all hope that it doesn't.

The Sightseer Tram Car runs the entire tourist season up and down the Wildwood boardwalk, weather permitting. If you are handicap and need assistance, one of the friendly tram car attendants will assist you when help is requested.

A definite must-see and must-do when visiting the boardwalk in Wildwood...at least once in your life!
