According to the history section on their website, the farm has been in the Cassel family since 1903 with the vineyard & winery being a part of the 135 acre farm. They currently grow six varieties of grapes: Chambourcin, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc, Concord, and Niagara.

The wines at the Cassel Vineyards are absolutely delicious! We have tried several of them and have never been disappointed. You'll find numerous award-winning varieties and you can purchase some wine to take home with you from their on-site wine store. One of my personal favorites is their Peach and Honey Wine. Deliciously sweet!
Cassel Brookside Stables in Hummelstown Pennsylvania

The farm is home to the Cassel Brookside Stables where you'll find some of the prettiest horses around. Every time we visit the vineyard, I'm hoping to catch a glimpse of these majestic animals. I love that they will come up right along the fence line, so that visitors can see them.

If you live in central Pennsylvania or just traveling through, a visit to the Cassel Vineyards of Hershey should be on your to-do list.
