I consider myself to be a homemade fudge diva. Seriously, I make it at home pretty often and I'm always buying it when we travel, well, that is if I can find a good fudge shop!
Every time we travel down to Wildwood and/or Cape May in New Jersey, I always hit up one of my favorite shops,
The Original Fudge Kitchen who has locations all over south Jersey, with several on the
boardwalk in Wildwood. You'll see their signage out front and they always have a store employee out there handing out those delicious free samples!!!
One of the reasons I love their fudge is that they make & sell over 20+ varieties of creamy and delicious fudge! Just walking into their store you scan smell it and it always makes your mouth-water when you're in there. On top of that...the taste! It's rich and creamy, full of wonderful sweet tooth flavor! It always satisfies my cravings.
When we visit their shop, I always pick up a 1/2 lb. of the peanut butter & chocolate and a 1/2 lb. of the chocolate marshmallow. My hubby always selects a 1/2 lb. of vanilla nut and a 1/2 lb. of vanilla fudge. Since we are frequent customers, we joined their "free club" and got a club card that gives us $1.00 off each pound of fudge that we purchase.
Just recently they were running a special where if you bought 2 lbs. of fudge (any flavor or flavor combination), You got a 1 lb. box FREE of their saltwater taffy. I have to admit, that is just as delicious and didn't last long with us!
If you're not planning a trip to the area, you can order your goodies online and have them shipped to you, a loved one (think gifts!) or a friend. Trust me, it will be the type of fudge that you'll fall in-love with and will want to sample over & over again!
