Holiday Fun at Thrush's Christmas Lights in Harrisburg

Thrush's Christmas Lights in Harrisburg Pennsylvania
One of the ways we like to celebrate the holiday season is by taking our young grandchildren out to see the Christmas lights. Every year we take them down to Hershey Sweet Lights in Hershey and this year we added Thrush's Christmas Lights to our list.

If you're unfamiliar with the area you'll find Thrush's Christmas Lights located at 4104 Lisa Drive in Harrisburg. The home owner loves to decorate for the holidays and sets up beautiful displays in his front, side and back yards. All of this wonderful holiday enjoyment is FREE for you and your family to enjoy.

Upon arrival you'll want to park along the street. During prime time hours and the weekend it can get busy. We found it best to visit during a weeknight evening so that we could explore and take our time. This is a "walk-through" display and you'll enter the walking path via the designated arch located in the front yard. There is a welcome sign!

As you walk along the lit path you'll find beautiful Christmas light displays, a ton of fun inflatables and more! On the evening that we visited they were playing holiday music through a speaker system and we met the home owner who was handing out candy canes!

I'm a huge fan of inflatables and snowmen...so I really enjoyed seeing their collection of snowmen. My husband enjoyed anything Santa related and our grandchildren loved everything. Yes, I asked them what their favorite thing was and both of them replied EVERYTHING! We actually walked through twice, just so the grandchildren could experience it again.

We loved our visit to Thrush's Christmas Lights and will definitely be visiting again next year. What a stunning array of holiday lights, inflatables, light shows, holiday music and just plain old fun! Visiting will definitely put you in the mood for the Christmas holiday.

Our family goes out to see the holiday lights every year as a family tradition. Beforehand I like to pack each member a snack bag containing popcorn & candy along with a cup of hot cocoa that we enjoy along the way. We also take along throw blankets to help stay warm as we drive around checking out holiday lights to and from various destinations on our must-see list. You can make it a family tradition too! Merry Christmas!
