The
Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum is located at the
Space Coast Regional Airport in Titusville, Florida and is open 7 days a week (closed major holidays). Admission ranges from $5.00 for children up to $20.00 for adults. The museum shows off various aircraft collections, offers aircraft restoration, displays a memorabilia collection and hosts air shows throughout the year. If you're looking to save money on the admission price, you'll find a printable $2.00 off adult admission ticket coupon on their website.
When you visit their museum you'll learn very quickly that their mission is to honor the past, preserve our heritage and educate the future. The museum was founded in 1977 and currently has a collection of 45+ historic warbirds.
While walking around the air museum you'll have the chance to see the C-47 Tico Belle, TBM Avenger, A-4 Skyhawk, the F-86 Sabre and many more! You can get up close and personal with many of these historic warbirds and they make great backdrops for your family pictures.
They have an extensive memorabilia collection containing genuine uniforms, equipment, weapons, artillery, photographs and artifacts from the beginning of military aviation. I was really impressed with all of the items that they had on display and I learned a lot about them as we wondered around the museum.
If you're looking to visit, I recommend that you go to their
website and check out their calendar of current events. They keep that updated with upcoming air shows, fly-in breakfast events, etc. I also recommend that you go over to
Facebook and like their page where they update it almost daily with museum events and news.
