Family Fun at The Meadows Miniature Golf in Harrisburg

The Meadows Miniature Golf in Harrisburg Pennsylvania
The Meadows Original Frozen Custard and Mini Golf is located on 4636 Jonestown Road in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Their menu of delicious frozen treats includes: frozen custard, sundaes, shakes, arctic swirls, gelati, cones, cups, frosts and Italian ice. You can place your order and eat-in or go through the drive-thru for takeout. They're open for approximately 9 months out of the year.

Our family enjoys visiting The Meadows several times every year for some family fun. We enjoy challenging one another to a game of miniature golf, slugging it out in the batting cages or ramping things up in their video arcade. You can enjoy just one activity or purchase combo activity tickets/admission. It's a popular place for families to get-together and young children enjoy having their birthday parties hosted at The Meadows.

When it comes to playing mini golf in the Harrisburg area, The Meadows Mini Golf is our favorite place to play. It's an 18-hole course that is beautifully landscaped. You'll find free on-site parking right out front. Depending on the time of the day that you arrive, you'll pay your admission fee right at the little club house at the entrance or you may have to walk inside of the frozen custard shop to pay your admission.

The miniature golf course is built on a hillside which is really cool. As you go along you'll see a few pretty water fountains with pond features and a rolling man-made stream. It's laid out really nicely and is an easy walk for just about anyone. Some of the holes are fairly easy to play (par 2) while a few others are little more challenging. Each hole is vastly different and its a great course for children and adults to play.

After taking in a game of mini golf we like to challenge one another to a game or two of skee ball in their video arcade. It's RARELY crowded, so we can get in and out pretty quickly. If you're into video games, they have a nice variety of those too! You can get change from one of the change machines or walk down to their frozen custard shop and obtain change there.

One of the things we really like about The Meadows is the family-friendly atmosphere. All of the staff is very friendly and they keep the premises clean and picked-up. As an added bonus, they play family-friendly music over the speaker system while you're playing mini golf, using the batting cages or when you're visiting the arcade. Nice having a little bit of entertainment too!
