Where To Stay In Lancaster Amish Country

Where To Stay In Lancaster Amish Country
When it comes to lodging in Lancaster Pennsylvania, there are many fine choices. My husband and I only recommend the places that we have personally stayed in at one time or another. There are more places to stay besides our list, but I won't recommend places that I don't have first hand knowledge of.

One of our favorite places to stay in is called Fulton Steamboat Inn. We love this place because its close to everything...food, shopping, entertainment, etc. This is an upscale hotel with a fitness gym, nice big pool, gift shop and you can even get a room with a whirlpool tub. When we go down to Lancaster, this is one of our favorite hotels.

Another nice choice for lodging would be the Continental Inn. It's a nice upscale hotel with full amenities and its close to everything. You'll find business meeting rooms, a swimming pool, fitness gym and several different styles of rooms & suites to choose from.
Best Western Plus Revere Inn and Suites Lancaster Pennsylvania

Best Western Plus Revere Inn and Suites is a really great choice and would be our second favorite place to stay when visiting Lancaster Amish Country. The accommodations are very nice & clean. They are located closer to Strasburg than downtown Lancaster city. Within driving distance are all of the fabulous theaters, shopping outlets, restaurants, miniature golf, Dutch Wonderland, etc.

If you are looking for affordable accommodations without all the fancy thrills, you can check out the Econo Lodge North and right across the street is the Econo Lodge South. Yes folks...both are right across the street from one another. We stayed at the Econo Lodge North and weren't impressed with their accommodations, but then again...you get what you paid for. Our room had a terrible odor and it wasn't very clean. We checked out the very next day and went to another hotel. With that said, that was 4 years ago and I don't know what they're like now.

If you are looking for accommodations for you and your family, you can check out the PA Dutch Country Web Site. Have a great trip!
