Family Heirloom Weavers in Red Lion Pennsylvania

If you are going to be visiting the Red Lion area here in Pennsylvania you will want to pay a quick visit to Family Heirloom Weavers. This weaving company gives you the opportunity to see a real working textile mill in action. The vintage looms weave a variety of 18th and 19th Century reproduction home furnishings that work with most styles of home decor today.

For over 25 years this company has been producing beautiful work's of art using the old looms and vintage patterns from yesteryear. Their products are in high demand and can be seen in museums, fine homes and even on Hollywood movie sets.

Their skilled craftsman weave everything from ingrain carpets, bed coverlets, throw blankets, pillows,  table runners, placemats, window curtains, shower curtains and table squares. You can find traditional and seasonal designs like my "Belsnickel" holiday table runner shown in the photo above. It is absolutely beautiful and a piece that I will treasure for many years to come!

You can get tours of their working mill and afterwards visit the showhouse next door to do some of your on-site shopping. You can see all of their primitive, colonial and Arts & Crafts inspired textiles on display in realistic room settings.
