Harrisburg Walk for Wishes Event #WalkForWishes #BlueBunny

I love supporting a good cause...especially when I can show my support locally here in my own hometown. If you are in the south central Pennsylvania area or in Harrisburg specifically...this is one event you will want to attend.

Blue Bunny Ice Cream in partnership with Make-A-Wish will be sponsoring the Walk for Wishes event in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The event is on October 18th, 2015. Check-in time will be 8:30 AM. The event is being held on City Island at the Carousal Pavilion, 10 N. Second Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101.

Your registration fee includes a Walk for Wishes t-shirt, Fall Fest activities, snacks and food, raffles, crafts, games, and entertainment!  Registration: Wish Children are Free! Children 14 and under are free! $15 for participants age 15 and over. On-site registration is $20. All parking on the day of the event is free too!

As part of its retail initiative, Blue Bunny will team up with Weis in Harrisburg during the months of September and October to donate $1 to Make-A-Wish for every package of Blue Bunny Mini Swirls or Ice Cream Sandwiches sold. About the Event — Please join us for the 5th Annual Walk for Wishes on Sunday, October 18th, 2015 on City Island in Harrisburg to benefit Make-A-Wish® Philadelphia, Northern Delaware and Susquehanna Valley, who has served more than 5,200 local children and families in the last 29 years.
