Delicious Wings from The Wing Basket on Union Deposit Road

A couple of months ago a new restaurant opened up on Union Deposit Road in Harrisburg called The Wing Basket. You'll find the establishment located at 3911 Union Deposit Road in the same shopping plaza as Weis Markets, Gabriel's and Jimmy Johns. They sit near the corner to the left of Jimmy Johns and Naple's Pizza.

You can eat-in, take out and delivery is available. The Wing Basket is known for their chicken wings and handmade sauces. You can order your wings with boneless or with the bone-in. Sauces include: TNT, Classic Hot, Classic Mild, Sweet Barbecue, Honey Mustard, Honey Gold, Sweet Heat, Kentucky Bourbon, Garlic Parmesan, Lemon Pepper and Cajun Country. 

In addition to the chicken wings they offer chicken tenders, seasoned french fries, celery & carrots, ranch dip, blue cheese dip, and beverages. 

The restaurant is open 7 days a week. Sunday through Thursday 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, Friday and Saturday 11:00 AM to 10:30 PM. 

We finally had the opportunity to visit The Wing Basket and were very impressed! We ordered two 7-piece Traditional Wings and a large order of Seasoned French Fries. Everything is made-to-order, so it took about 15 minutes to receive it. My wife really loved the Sweet Barbecue Sauce and I enjoyed the Classic Mild. The French Fries are some of the best in the entire area! 

One thing you'll notice during your visit is that the restaurant is extremely clean While they don't have a big eat-in dining area, there is plenty of room for a small crowd or large family to enjoy. The two employees that we dealt with were knowledgeable, friendly and tended to our order fast with no errors. We'll definitely be eating there again soon.
