As we were standing there placing our orders we were told to ignore all prices printed on the paper menu or posted on their menu board. A female employee informed us that prices had recently went up and they hadn't had time to change them. There would be a $1.50 per sandwich upcharge! We placed our to-go order and sat down at a table to wait.
It took them about 25 minutes to get it done. Called up to the counter to collect our bag and to pay for our order. At that time we assumed our order was correct since we didn't order anything complicated. We left and went back to our hotel room to sit down for dinner.
Well, our order was totally messed up. We received the wrong sandwiches, no condiments for our French Fries (we requested Ketchup) and one beverage was incorrect too. We were really disappointed and frankly, the sandwiches that we did receive were nothing to brag about. If we would of had more time that night we would of driven back down there to return the food and to complain.
I'm sure that a lot of people love Bell's Philly Grill but our first experience dining there was a big disappointment. I'm not sure if we'll try them again or not. With that said, we wanted to share our experience with the restaurant with those who read our travel blog.
