Douglass Candies has been in business since 1919 and is owned and operated by the Douglass family. You'll find them located at 3300 Boardwalk in Wildwood, New Jersey. The store occupies a corner space and is easy-to-find when you're up on the boardwalk.
When you walk into the store you'll be treated to all kinds of different candy confections like saltwater taffy, macaroons, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolave covered peanuts, lollipops, caramel and chocolate dipped apples, gummy candies, paddles & dainties, caramels, caramel corn, licorice, cream mints, chocolate bars, chocolate dipped marshmallows, creamy fudge and more!
Matter of fact...there are 3 things we love to buy at Douglass Candies when we're down at the Jersey Shore. Fudge, Caramel Dipped Apples and Saltwater Taffy. They make the BEST saltwater taffy on the entire boardwalk! So, if you want the best...go to Douglass! If you ask our grandchildren what their favorite thing to get they would answer the GUMMIES!
The company has a long-standing history in Wildwood and you can read all about it on their website. These days it's hard to find a family-owned and operated candy company that is still in business for over 100 years! In addition to their Wildwood location you'll find them in Stone Harbor too.

I love good fudge. I do make my own fudge, but I like to try different fudges at different places. This place sound perfect for me to visit and sample the fudge.
