Veterans Memorial Park in North Wildwood

For the past 2 years we've been watching the construction going on in North Wildwood for the new Veterans Memorial Park. Well, it's finally completed and we got to visit the park back in April 2025. This park is beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. It's free to visit and a free parking lot is located at the park. Handicap accessible too!

This park honors veterans from all branches of service. There's a section that honors Gold Star Families with a special Monument and Memorial too. The walkways are paved so it's an easy walk or for those with walking assisted devices and wheelchairs. 

When visiting you'll want to allow 15-30 minutes of time in your schedule. You'll park and walk on the paved walkways visiting all of the monuments and memorials. It's open-year round. There are a few park benches that you can sit on to people-watch or just to sit and relax while you're there.

We had perfect weather when we were there so we got some great photographs to share with you. You can double-click on each one to have it open-up in a new window in an enlarged size. Make sure you walk around each monument because some of them have wording on the other side too. 

Every time we travel we like to visit local veteran memorials and monuments as a way to pay our respects to our nation's vets...past, present and future. Visiting Veterans Memorial Park in North Wildwood was an awesome experience. They did a really nice job building this park to honor our veterans and gold star families. A very respectful and honorable place to visit.

If you're going to be visiting the Stone Harbor, Wildwood and/or Cape May area in southern New Jersey...make sure you take a few minutes to stop by the Veterans Memorial Park in North Wildwood. You'll come onto the north end of the island and it's sits right on the left-hand side of the road after you pass Wawa which sits on the right. Very easy to get to.
