Gilligan's Bar and Grill is one of the best fine and casual dining restaurants in the Harrisburg area. The establishment has been in business since 1993 and offers three convenient locations in the capital area. We like to visit the restaurant located on North Houcks Road.
Upon arrival you'll wait to be seated. You can choose to sit in the bar area or the more "quieter area" of the restaurant. You can choose from booths or dining tables, depending on how busy they are and what's available at the time. Please note...they can get extremely busy on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, so your choices on seating may be limited.
The bar & grill offers a vast menu featuring the full four course meal complete with delicious cocktails and beverages. Some of our favorite main entrees include crab cakes, prime rib, lasagna, steaks and the roasted chicken. If you're a dessert lover we highly recommend their strawberry cheesecake or tiramisu.
One thing we really like about dining at Gilligan's is that we don't have to chase down the wait staff. They're really attentive and always offering you refills on your beverages and making sure that you have everything that you need. They go above and beyond with customer service and satisfaction.
Even though they're a Bar & Grill don't let that scare you off if you're looking for family dining! They have a nice children's menu and children are welcomed at the establishment. You'll want to ask for seating in the restaurant area...which is separate from the more noisy bar area. We have no issues taking our grandchildren along with us when we visit Gilligan's Bar and Grill.
