When visiting Wildwood you'll find no shortage on restaurants that offer pizza. None. You'll find hundreds of restaurants on the island offering pizza for in-house dining, take-out and/or delivery. As we all know...not all pizza is the same. Some will be too doughy, others will have too much sauce or not enough cheese, and others will be rubbery.
Sam's Pizza Palace on the
Wildwood Boardwalk offers some of the best pizza on the island. While they're not our absolute favorite place to get pizza, they're definitely in our top three. They've been in business since 1957 and are open 7 days a week, year round.
Their pizza is made-to-order with fresh ingredients. You'll find your classic toppings: extra cheese, mushrooms, sausage, peppers, onions, meatballs, broccoli, pepperoni, and more. You can order a whole pie or just a slice or two. If you're dining in...you can actually watch them make your pizza!
In addition to pizza they offer steak sandwiches, cheese steaks, meatball subs, sausage subs, hot dogs and a few additional menu items. They can get really busy during the tourist season & during weekends, so we prefer calling ahead with our take-out order.
