Elizabeth Montgomery from Bewitched Statue in Salem

Elizabeth Montgomery from Bewitched Statue in Salem

When I was a child my mother would sit all of us kids in front of the TV to watch Bewitched every week. Elizabeth Montgomery who played Sabrina was one of my mother's favorite actresses. She admired her for her beauty and her talent. The sitcom ran in the U.S. from 1964-1972.

We were on an extended weekend getaway to Boston and took a day trip into Salem. By pure accident we stumbled upon the Elizabeth Montgomery statue located at the intersection of Essex and Washington Street. It was installed in 2005 and attracts visitors from all around the world who were big fans of the sitcom. It was built by TV Land.

It was really cool to see. If you're a fan of Bewitched and/or Elizabeth Montgomery...you'll want to stop by to check it out. Looking for other things to see and do while visiting Massachusetts?
