Bobby Rydell Wall Mural - Wildwood Boardwalk

Bobby Rydell Wall Mural - Wildwood Boardwalk
Every time we travel I love to take some time out to see some of the amazing wall murals and street art that you find at most tourist destinations. North Wildwood, Wildwood and Wildwood Crest has some amazing outdoor wall murals and street art. You can see many of the ones that we visited while down at the Jersey Shore by checking out our New Jersey category right here on our blog.

Today's wall mural is in Wildwood New Jersey and right on the Wildwood Boardwalk, at Roberts Avenue & the Boardwalk. It's a mural that features Bobby Rydell and was painted by the artist Bieling in 2014. I think it's a great mural and totally looks like Bobby Rydell during his younger days, don't ya think? He's famous for creating that famous "Wildwood Days" song that you hear every where you go while visiting this coastal town.

If you're unfamiliar with who Bobby Rydell is...he's a famous music artist and was born in April 1942. He's a professional singer who belts out mainly Rock & Roll tunes. Back in the 1960's he was considered to be a teen idol and millions of young girls used to swoon all over him. I'm sure many older women still swoon over him today. You can learn more about him and his music by visiting his website online.

There are currently two additional wall murals in the Musical Icons Series. You can find our post with photographs on the Bill Haley and the Comets mural and the Chubby Checker wall mural right here on the Pennsylvania and Beyond Travel Blog. The Wildwoods has some beautiful street art for visitors to see.

The iconic wall mural was painted by Peter J. Bieling and his son Peter C. Bieling, who have done other paintings for Morey's Piers. Wow, this father and son team are pretty talented artists and we really enjoyed checking out the Bobby Rydell wall mural (street art) while visiting the Wildwood Boardwalk in New Jersey.
